Celtic Kirtan

The flame of Celtic Spirituality burns bright in today's world bringing both comfort and challenge to many. At the same time the ancient wisdom of India illumines and inspires health and healing for many others. What would happen if we wedded these two sources of soulful depth? The music on this CD is an attempt to do just that. Through the ancient languages of Irish and Sanskrit, the traditional melodies of Ireland, the call and response form of Indian kirtan, the emphasis on the Divine Feminine, and the common themes of lament, lullaby, and love, we offer a musical expression of a spirituality that dances in both worlds and beyond.
